Teams will find themselves meandering the mountainous surrounds of the charming Prince Albert.
As the sky turns to pink and blue hues, participants are welcomed across the finish line at the heritage rich Gay Guernsey's Dairy where their efforts are well-rewarded and colorful stories shared around the Karoo Braai!

5km Run / 70km Bike / 16km Run
The biking leg will have short in/out running legs during the stage.
With teams taking place in teams of two and a LITE version available this is the perfect way to get mates involved!
Teams of two participate side by side on a 100km course unsupported. Using topographical features and a 1: 50 000 map to navigate between checkpoints.
Disciplines include mainly Trail Running and Mountain biking.
Unsupported - teams must complete the course without assistance.

This is the traditional, unassisted adventure racing style. Both Participants must complete the entire course with collection of all checkpoints without any assistance or seconding.

PAIRS LITE has all the same requirements as above. The only difference between the two races - is of course the distance covered. This is the real deal !

This is the base map and area of the Prince Albert Topo Raid. Feel free to download and study it. The race map given out at the start will be pre-plotted on water proof paper.
This Kit Check has used the 'AR World Series' and the 'Expedition Africa' kit list as a template for general cohesion in the AR community.
